To give rational, intelligent, and relevant explanations of Christian insight, living, and thought to all who seek after it, and most importantly to all who seek to find, strengthen, or deepen their faith in the precious Lord Jesus Christ, who has radically transformed my life; bringing me out of darkness into His marvelous light.
-2 Corinthians 10:5- "We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ"
I grew up in a Christian home. Both my mother and father were Christians who attended an Evangelical Church. At the age of six, I recited a form of the “sinners’ prayer,” after watching a play depicting Heaven & Hell. When I began attending high school, I was tired of what I perceived to be a legalistic and dead religion, and became an Atheist who gratified and encouraged every desire of the flesh.
After graduating from high school, I went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree at SDSU. It was there-- in one of the darkest places that I could have possibly been-- that Christ found me.
It was after the close of the first semester that God began to reveal the depravity of my own heart and the clear path of destruction that I was on. Sometime before Christmas of 2006, I surrendered my life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Since that time, my whole orientation has changed. I have an increasing desire to know and to please Christ in every way.
